ABOUT CRSTIAN TR

CRSTIAN TR is a Southsea based singer songwriter with an imposing raspy baritone and a songbook of bluesy altrock that tackles the love, life and loss that litter our lives.

A Portsmouth native with New Zealand heritage, Christian Tama Roberts has been writing and recording since 14 years old. The early break never came, and when his work in the London film industry dried up, he moved home and re-found his first love, music. Channelling his inner torment into his writing, CRSTIAN TR emerged and so did the songs.

Six years, 3 EP’s, 5 singles and a live album later, CRSTIAN TR has firmly established himself and his music. With BBC, Voice FM, HOT VOX and Express FM exposure, a healthy gigging schedule and a loyal fanbase he continues to go from strength to strength.

Following 3 successful hometown shows at Victorious Festival, including the Acoustic Stage before Newton Faulkner, CRSTIAN TR’s latest single ‘Where Do I Go?’ was premiered on BBC Introducing. The single will be the first release off his 4th EP being released in early 2024.

LATEST RELEASE

My new single 'Where Do I Go?' (released October 27th) was written at a crossroads in my life where I am getting older, trying to make better choices in life and to leave my past life/ways behind.

This period of reflection means the song is pensive, looking back at what could have been but also filled with optimism and hope for what is ahead in life if I make better decisions.

The song which is the first track off my 4th EP being released in early 2024, is musically still upbeat, a little less country than usual and was recorded at my home studio, then mixed/mastered in a studio in Norway.
